Sumit Kumar

VP Finance

Sumit Kumar has been with Strata since 2016. In his role, Sumit is responsible for leading, planning, and implementing a number of strategic projects and transactions that enhance shareholder value, with valuable experience in obtaining Investment Committee approvals.

Before joining Strata, Sumit worked with some of the world’s leading blue-chip organizations such as KPMG (UAE), NMDC (UAE), Deloitte (India) and Aditya Birla (India).

With over 17 years of experience across a wide section of industries and cross-border transactions, Sumit possesses in-depth experience and knowledge within the areas of Financial Control, Corporate Governance, Strategic Planning, Investment Appraisal, Risk Management, Treasury, and Commercial & Financial Due Diligence.

Sumit is an Associate Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountant of India (ICAI) for over 17 years, and also holds a BCom (Honors) degree in Accounting & Finance from Calcutta University, India.
